A few years ago, after several years with a couple on their fruitless search for a unique catamaran, I was asked to apply my 30 years in multihulls and their construction to conceptualized a design and layout for a truly unique
performance motorsail cat, unlike anything available today. Together, we developed the cat you see here, and Rainier Catamarans, LLC. 
    'Rhumb Line' is here, and available in limited, semi-custom production!

After a long stretch, CMI and the Rainier Catamaran Corp. are pleased to present this amazing cat to the market! Initial sea-trials resulted in 6-7 knots of boat speed in 12 knots true wind (and our main was cut 2' too long for the hoist - and we have fixed props!!), and motoring speeds to 14.0 knots, 10 knots = 1.5GPH TOTAL, 2 GPH at 13!! The room and space in this yacht must be seen to be believed, and we are ready for Custom Interior Production to YOUR desire with a GREAT builder!
